Cub Scout Pack 800 was founded in 1987 and is currently 54 Scouts strong. The Pack is independently sponsored by the Parents of Pack 800 at Valencia School as Chartered by the BSA.

Our Pack 800 meetings are normally held monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the new time of 6:30 p.m (see Calendar for details).   Pack meetings run about 1.5 -2.0 hours.

Our Scouts enjoy camping, Pinewood Derby, Space Derby, Bike Safety Rodeo, Blue & Gold Graduation Ceremony, campfires, Summer Cub Day Camp, archery, field trips, beach cleanup projects, pumpkin carving contests with charity food drive, firefighter visits, Scout Sea Base activities, jokes, hiking and many other activities (see Forms & Flyers for more info).  Along the way, they also learn leadership, academics, teamwork, responsibility, have fun and make new friends.

Recently, a Pack 800 Mom wrote to her Den Leader,

"He did have fun...when we tried baseball before, he kind of got made fun of by some of the other boys, and the other dads would yell for him to run, etc.  He felt really good about the baseball Den meeting, and did learn from everyone, and felt supported.  I told him if he'd like, I'd play catch with him, and he loved that idea.  I watched the way you and the other Dads threw, and think I can do it.  Thanks!"
