Scout Stories

The following are stories written by Scouts in Pack 800.

Some of the things that I like doing in Scouts are archery, swimming, tomahawk throwing, BB guns, slingshot, and more.  We get to travel and learn about other things.  You can go to camp where you get to see new friends.  You get to do projects and events.  Try and see for yourself !  CR Webelos 1st Year

I like Scouting because it is fun and I get to be with my friends.  CM Webelos 1st Year

The thing I like about Scouting is the Space Derby and the Pinewood Derby.  Another thing that I like are the Pack Meetings.  EF Webelos 1st Year

I like Scouting a lot.  We go camping.  We earn cool badges when we accomplish different tasks.  It's a good way to make friends !  JD Webelos 1st Year

My favorite thing camping at Lost Valley was seeing all the first time campers enjoy the great facility.  We brought 15 families from our Pack.  The Scouts have 1,400 acres of fun in the great outdoors that all can enjoy.  With all the activities that the OCBSA put on with their volunteer leaders, our Scouts earned as much as they could with Archery, BB Gun, hiking, crafts, swim testing, Outdoorsman, Readyman, Artist, and much more.  BR Cubmaster

My favorite thing about the last Pack Meeting was the magic and the doughnuts.  How did you take Mr. B's shirt off from under his jacket?  Wolf

I like getting belt loops (this was from a TIGER CUB!)

As a first time trained leader, I really learned a lot at the committee meeting on how things run.  (KS)
